- Alexis Lombre
DOORS 8 PM
SHOW 9PM
Alexis Lombre is a pianist, vocalist, composer, and producer from Chicago.
She discovered early that the true essence of music is not just about what you hear, but how it makes you feel. Her mission is to keep the 'Soul' in music alive. The 2017 release of her debut EP, Southside Sounds, does just that, as it is a soulful reflection of her upbringing on Chicago’s Southside, and it rose to the top 100 Jazz albums on Jazzweek. Her latest single, "Boundaries," a powerful anthem about standing up for oneself and taking ownership of personal space, was originally released in June as part of Apple Music's Juneteenth Freedom 2024 Jazz playlist for Black Music Month and became available on all music platforms as of September. Lombre’s other releases include the single “Come Find Me,” which she describes as “lyrically, a gospel song; harmonically, a jazz song; and rhythmically, a hip-hop/R&B song.
I didn’t create the song with any borders.” As JazzTimes notes, “Lombre realized early on that by refusing to be constrained by convention—whether so-called 'jazz' or otherwise—she’d be honoring, rather than defiling, the rich heritage she’d come to embrace.”
In addition to composing, producing, and performing her own music, she has even been featured in a video for Coke Studios (Coca-Cola) and also has toured the United States, Canada, Cuba, Brazil, Europe, and South Africa with artists such as Jon Batiste, Terrace Martin, Marcus Miller, Terri Lyne Carrington, Ledisi, Lizz Wright, STOUT, Keyon Harrold, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Nicole Mitchell, Jamila Woods, DJ D-Nice, and the Miles Davis Electric Band. Lombre was awarded the inaugural 2022 New Music Next Jazz Legacy Award and the 2023 Luminarts Award.

- Corbin - Clown On Stage Tour
DOORS 6 PM
SHOW 7 PM
Corbin (FKA Spooky Black) makes captivating, honest, and raw music that harkens back to the days when the singer-songwriter’s artistic vision prioritized vulnerability over image. For over a decade, the SoundCloud legend has made moody and intimate R&B that has helped listeners through some of their most difficult times. The 26-year-old St. Paul, Minnesota native came to prominence during the rise of the SoundCloud gold rush, influencing a new generation of songwriters. Songs such as the haunting portrait of addiction “Diazepam”, and his battle with insecurity and instability in relationships “ICE BOY”, highlighted his ability to connect with the plight of modern youth.
But it was the internet-breaking, classic ballad of yearning “Without You” that inspired a generation of disaffected and abandoned adolescents, serving as a soundtrack to make the alienated feel a little less alone. The song was named one of the best of 2014 by Complex and Consequence Of Sound. His work, notably 2017’s Mourn, has been lauded by Pitchfork, Dazed, NPR, andTheNeedleDrop and was named one of the best albums of the year by Dazed. He’s attracted some of the biggest names in music, featuring on songs with Chief Keef, Trippie Redd, Skrillex, and The Kid Laroi, among others.
With his latest single, Carbon Monoxide, Corbin presents a down-tempo, piercing work, displaying his familiar aughts of genre-juggling with a degree of vulnerability that’s both earnest and downtrodden. His draught, monochrome lyricism cuts through –– with Corbin posterizing his agony and self-criticism with lyrics like –– "You can see all the walls I put up caving in / slowly creep in my lungs your my carcinogen". Contrasted with glowing guitar riffs and tight drums, an air of poignant melancholy and steward vulnerability –– he pieces together a single that will leave listeners wondering what influences and experiences shaped this, and what will follow for the artist known for his unpredictability and distance.
The 9-date US headlining Clown on Stage tour kicks off this Spring, giving his fans a long-awaited opportunity to witness the elusive singer and to experience his self-assured reformation.
LUCY (Cooper B. Handy)
Born on Cape Cod, Cooper B. Handy started releasing music as LUCY in 2009. In the years since, the Western Massachusetts based singer/producer has made a career of self-releasing music and videos, unpolished & posted in near real time. LUCY’s captivating live performance has earned him a cult following on the DIY circuit, playing shows in basements and warehouses across the country. His music is experimental and raw – at times even abrasive. His GarageBand-based production has never swayed far from the sample packs and synth sounds he started writing music with 14 years ago. Aggressively prolific, Handy has amassed an extensive catalogue that is both eccentric and earnest. His music channels a sense of creative exploration, and his lyrics pack real wisdom into unassuming one-liners.

His first performance was at the age of 7, where he played the organ in concert at the New Friendship Baptist Church. Although he names Eminem, TI, Bootsy Collins, James Brown, Prince and Ludacris as his predominant musical influences.

- ROTIMI - In My heart, In My Veins Tour
DOORS 7 PM
SHOW 8PM
Rotimi is a first-generation Nigerian-American who grew up in New Jersey, a place that shaped his tenacity, resilience, and drive for success. A multi-instrumentalist with a passion for music from an early age, Rotimi's musical journey began as a wedding singer at just four years old.
His undeniable talent and dedication propelled him to the Apollo Theater at age 15, where he performed and won over audiences with his rendition of Kenny Lattimore’s “For You.” From there, his musical career flourished, leading him to perform across the tri-state area and become part of a collective that would eventually become MBH. With a deep-rooted belief in his destiny,
Rotimi's path was paved by a vision shared by his mother. In a dream, Bob Marley told her, "Your son is going to finish out your legacy." That prophetic moment marked the beginning of Rotimi’s journey to create music that transcends borders and genres. Always confident and resilient, he was the varsity captain of his high school basketball team, a testament to his leadership both on and off the stage. After high school, Rotimi pursued a voice performance major at Northwestern University, where he formed the R&B group HG (Hustle Group). Despite the challenges of limited resources, Rotimi and his group sneaked into the university's music department to record, and their persistence paid off. His song "Beautiful Music" began to trend online, leading to performances at local universities and further honing his craft. Graduating with a degree in communications and a minor in business, Rotimi was ready to take on the world.
After college, he launched his acting career with a recurring role on the Starz TV show Boss. Following two successful seasons, the television show eventually ran its course and was cancelled. As a result, Rotimi relocated to L.A. to pursue new opportunities in the entertainment industry. He started self-taping to submit audition videos for a role on Power, and the rest is history. His debut EP, Jeep Music Volume 1, features the hit single "Want More" with Kranium, which amassed over 40 million streams, setting the stage for his future success. Rotimi’s breakthrough came in 2020 with the release of The Beauty of Becoming, which produced his first RIAA Gold Certified record, "In My Bed." His musical range and star power continued to grow, and in 2021, he released All or Nothing, featuring heavyweights like Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, and Tank, solidifying his place as an artist with limitless potential. With the support of influential figures such as T-Pain, 50 Cent, JAY-Z, Jamie Foxx, and T.I., among others, Rotimi continued to carve out his unique sound, blending contemporary R&B with Afrobeat and dancehall influences. A true testament to his journey from humble beginnings to global success, he continues to build his legacy with his latest album, In My Heart, In My Veins. A hardworking, inspiring, and confident artist, Rotimi's music is not just a reflection of his roots, but an anthem for all those who dare to dream.

- Bilal
DOORS 8 PM
SHOW 9 PM
Progressive R&B singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Bilal is the artist for whom the neo-soul categorization is most misleading. None of the Philadelphia native's recordings is beholden to any particular soul legend who thrived in the 1960 or '70s, and it isn't just because his voice -- classically trained and uncommonly versatile, capable of singing opera in seven languages -- is so unique.
m.e.h. is a Chicago-based singer, songwriter, and performer known for her soulful voice, introspective songwriting, and compelling live performances. Blending R&B, soul, and alternative influences, she draws inspiration from Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, Erykah Badu, David Bowie, and André 3000.
With performances at Lollapalooza, House of Blues, Metro, and more, m.e.h. continues to make her mark with releases like What is a Valentine?, Running in Place, You Got Me Like, and her EP Coup De Grâce. Featured in Lyrical Lemonade and WBEZ Radio, she is an artist redefining genre and storytelling through music.

- Barrington Levy
DOORS 8 PM
In 1976, BARRINGTON LEVY formed a band with his cousin, Everton Dacres, called the Mighty Multitude; the pair released “My Black Girl” in 1977. Levy established his solo career the next year with “A Long Time Since We Don’t Have No Love”; though the single was a failure, the 14-year-old was a popular performer at Jamaican dancehalls. Soon, Levy met Junjo Lawes and Hyman Wright, both record producers, and recorded several singles with the Roots Radics, including “Al Yah We Deh,” “Looking My Love,” “Englishman,” “Wedding Ring Aside,” and “Collie Weed,” all of which became hits and established Levy’s career.
Levy’s next few singles were similarly successful, including “Shine Eye Girl,” “Wicked Intention,” “Jumpy Girl,” “Skylarking” (by Horace Andy), “Disco Music,” “Reggae Music,” “Never Tear My Love Apart,” “Jah,” “You Made Me So Happy,” and “When You’re Young and in Love.” Levy then recorded several duets with Toyan, Jah Thomas, and Trinity, and memorably appeared at Reggae Sunsplash in 1980 and 1981. Though LPs were not terribly important in Jamaica at the time, Levy released three albums before 1980: Bounty Hunter, Shine Eye Gal (United Kingdom), and Englishman, a critically acclaimed record.
By 1980’s Robin Hood, Levy was one of the biggest Jamaican stars, and saw his international fame growing as well, especially in England. Taking a break from albums, Levy then released a series of hit singles, including “Mary Long Tongue,” “In the Dark,” “Too Poor,” “I Have a Problem,” “Even Tide Fire a Disaster,” “I’m Not in Love,” “You Have It,” “Love of Jah,” “Under Mi Sensi,” “Tomorrow Is Another Day,” “Robberman,” “Black Roses,” “My Woman,” and “Money Move.”
Levy returned to LPs with Lifestyle and Money Move, followed by a British hit album called Here I Come; Levy received the Best Vocalist prize at the British Reggae Awards.
The late 1980s saw Levy, now in his 20s, slow down his output, though he continued to perform and record until 1988. In 1993, Levy tried to break in the United States with Barrington, but Levy and his label, MCA Records, did not have a good relationship and he soon left. In the 1990s, Levy continued to release periodic hits in Jamaica, and more rarely in the UK. In 1998, he released Living Dangerously, which included a dynamic collaboration with one of Jamaica's most prolific deejays, Bounty Killer. The release was one of Levy’s most successful singles since the start of the ’90s, and allowed him the opportunity to be identified by members of the younger generation of dancehall patrons.
After the death of Sublime’s Bradley Nowell in 1996, Barrington and the remaining members got together to record several songs and toured. Levy was only involved in a handful of shows, but his contribution to their 1999 release “Right Back,” under the new moniker Long Beach Dub All Stars, was considered the best of the album.
Levy was featured on a 1999 track by the Rascalz titled “Top Of The World,” also featuring K-os. Levy also appeared on two singles by rapper Shyne (notably Shyne’s 2000 debut single, “Bad Boyz”), and on a track for drum ’n’ bass artist Aphrodite’s 2000 album Aftershock. In 2004, he contributed to a track on the album White People by Handsome Boy Modeling School, a project by Prince Paul and Dan the Automator.
